This is a phenomenal self-propelled mower, but we put turf down in the back yard and I no longer need a walk behind lawn mower.
It was originally a Brute EXi625, however, the push button start broke. I took all the electric start components off of it and ordered the corresponding Craftsman pull-start engine cover with the same 150cc and 6.25 ft-lbs torque branding. Here’s the Home Depot brand showing what they still retail for…
The leaf bag was rarely used because the original neighborhood owner had it set-up as a mulching mower, which you’ll get the blade cover for. I also have the chute, if you don’t bag or mulch at all. I have a brand-new OEM air filter cover, which will be included. BLADE WAS SHARPENED last week!
I’d like to keep it because of the reliability of these 150cc OHV engines with auto-choke, but I don’t need a push mower for just picking up leaves in the back yard, so my loss is your gain!
It’s had “non-oxy” fuel a.k.a. “clear gas” since I’ve owned it and if you keep that trend going, you’ll never have a carb gum up issue. I also CHANGED THE OIL (Kinetix SAE 30) last week and recommend annually or every other year, depending on use.
Feel free to call, e-mail (least checked) and/or text with questions…
Thank you!
