I'm looking to pass along all my beekeeping equipment to another person or family who has more time to enjoy this wonderful hobby. With growing kids, and their activities, I'm finding it difficult to prioritize the time beekeeping deserves, and even then, it's a "rushed" job. Not as pleasant if you can't enjoy it at your own pace.
I've kept as many as 12 hives before. Everything you need for keeping bees, overwintering, extracting, jarring, raising queens, etc. Protective gear included. I took inventory of what I have in the field and in the garage and I think I have these numbers pretty close. To buy it all new is over $5000 (shipping and taxes aside). I'm offering it used at $2500. Depending on where you are, I can throw in the two overwintering colonies that I have still living (another ~$400)
Two of the deeps/bottom boards are double nuc boxes
Maxant 9 frame extractor and stand
uncapping tank
electric uncapping knife
smoker
2 jackets/veil, & gloves. One fits 5'10", one fits 5'3"
queen grafting equipment
plus misc. gate valves and mouse guards and all the bits and pieces.
