This is a stunning, approximately 10'x6''-sized, persian oriental rug, which features a rich and detailed design. It is called a BAHKTIAR design and it is truly impressive. This gorgeous oriental rug was hand-knotted in Turkey, in the 1930's, so it is about 90 years old, and it is in excellent condition. This rug has a richly detailed, design and look, featuring a soft persimmon field with a larger oval scalloped navy central medallion. Very unique and a one of a kind look. The exact size is 9.7x6.1", (so about 10'x6'), and works with virtually any decor, from traditional through transitional, and contemporary to ultra-modern.

This BAHKTIAR is a work of art. You won't find another oriental rug like this. Because it is a hand knotted piece, it is unique and different from any other rug, with its own singular design. That is what makes these such special works of art. We used this rug to stage the main level study, in a large city lakes home that has now sold. It did a fantastic job of enriching the room and making the whole house look more impressive (along with the other rugs we had used). It is a special piece that will really enhance your home.
