FOR SALE is this electric Automatic Pet Feeder Model 2000GS-083497500017 made by Ergo Systems Inc, complete, working, and with full instructions. This is a great product for any animal but especially useful for larger dogs since it holds a huge amount of food. Because it is electric, you don’t have to go through three or four odd-sized batteries every four to six months. Just be sure your dog isn’t a cord chewer!! It works perfectly, but the food shoot has a short crack with a small piece broken off where it attaches to the unit (as shown in the last photo); however, it does not affect the operation of the unit at all. It runs on a digital timer that has an amazing number of different programming options. You can set the feeder for the same time all days Mon-Sun; different times each day of the week; weekdays only and/or different options Sat and Sun; every-other day, etc. PLEASE NOTE THIS: If you have difficulty programming electronic devices by following a set of specific manufacturer instructions (such as with digital watches, alarm clocks, VCRs, programmable thermostats, etc) then this might not be the product for you. However, this unit works on the same basic principles as other digital programmable devices, so if you know how to work those, you can work this. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. After I read through the directions and did some practice set-ups, I had no problem programming the feeder by a number of different options. I can send you a PDF of the instructions if you want to review them prior to purchasing. The electric cord is a generous 100 inches long, and the food storage container and lid as well as the food bowl are removable for easier cleaning. This is a wonderful unit to feed a dog while you are away, or to treat your dog at certain times of the day when you are out, which is how I used it. I had a dog who needed to have food or small treats every three to four hours to avoid tummy upset, and this worked just great when I worked 8-hour days. Plus, I only had to set it up once, fill it with goodies on the weekends, and it would be good to go for the entire week. Available for purchase in Golden Valley MN (just east of Highway 100 between the 36th Avenue North and Duluth Street exits.) I prefer communication via the Craig’s List Chat feature, but e-mail is OK, too.
