I am the original owner. Got this about a year ago. I have no complaints whatsoever about the quality or function, I have simply gotten away from drinking coffee over the last several months so no longer have any need for it. I did enjoy the flavor of the percolator-style brewing, but everyone's tastes vary, so I can't promise that the flavor this method yields will be to everyone's liking. In any case, it is a beautifully manufactured product, and it functions very well. I was drawn to the elegant simplicity of the design as well as the old-school charm of the low-tech process of percolating coffee, and in these qualities, this Coletti pot certainly delivered.
I take pride in caring for my gear and have always handled it carefully and cleaned it throughly and immediately after every use. It is in very good condition. There are no dents, gouges, breaks or deformities of any kind. The finish is in very good condition, with very minor scratching and minor discoloration (discoloration primarily on the outside bottom, and very slight discoloration of the glass percolator viewing top piece), and is showing only minimal signs of normal usage. The handle is in very good condition, with no cracking or other damage to wood. All internal parts and the glass top are in great shape, as well. It was never abused in any way, and is functioning perfectly. Sold as pictured, and includes the unbleached filter discs shown in the pictures (I'm not sure how many of the filters there are, but I would guess at least 100 or more -- the stack of filters is at least 2" tall.)
These sell for about $35 new on Amazon (plus shipping, unless you have Prime). Why buy brand new when you can get a well cared for unit like this at significant savings?
