Are you a hospitality leader who thrives in vibrant spaces, loves craft beverages, and knows how to turn a night out into an unforgettable experience? We’re a quirky, historic neighborhood pub known for our craft cocktails, carefully curated rare beer list, and unique, mostly-scratch bar menu. Our team is fun, eclectic, and proudly Minneapolis — and we’re looking for the right person to help lead them.
We’re seeking a Bar & Service Manager who can:
*Lead & Train Our Unique Team*
We operate with a distinctive, personality-forward service style that feels like welcoming guests into your own lively house party. You’ll train staff to provide warm, highly engaged service, teaching them to use descriptive language and expressive storytelling when talking about our food, drinks, our history and events.
*Elevate Guest Interaction*
Our guests come for the atmosphere and stay for the connection. You should have a track record of developing teams that excel in personable, conversational, high-touch hospitality.
*Manage Late-Night Operations*
We have a strong late-night business and thrive during peak energy hours. You should be comfortable managing high-volume nights, late-close shifts, and the pacing of a space that gets busiest when the sun goes down.
*Oversee Events & Programming*
From karaoke nights to quirky local happenings, events are part of our DNA. We’re looking for someone with experience planning, executing, and growing events in an independent or owner-operated business environment.
*Support Beverage Excellence*
You don’t need to be a sommelier or cicerone, but you should love talking about cocktails, spirits, and beer — and know how to pass that enthusiasm on to staff.
*What You Bring*
Previous bar management or service management experience
A passion for craft beverages and scratch food programs
Strong training, coaching, and communication skills
Ability to lead with positivity, humor, and authenticity
Experience managing events or nightlife programming
Reliability, integrity, and the desire to help build something special
