Join the Travail team! We are looking for chef's to work with us at our Minneapolis Residency, Wednesday-Saturday from 12noon-12midnight, with occasional additional days for private parties or events.

Our Chefs work both FOH and BOH. We will be at our temporary residence in our Minneapolis space until February 2020, when our new restaurant is completed in Robbinsdale we will be moving back to Robbinsdale.

-Following the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
-Labeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
-Measuring ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
-Complete tasks in a timely manner and communicate with the team as needed
-Maintain a clean workspace
-Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scale-
-Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
-Cook food in a timely manner
-Delegate tasks to other team members and work collaboratively
-Communicate with staff about changes in menu or time delays
-Ensure appealing plate presentation
-Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
-Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
-Serve food to customers and provide a pleasant experience for guests
