This ad is for a pair of very rare vintage Synergistics s60 speakers. The cabinets have scuffs and scratches and could use some help. The speaker grill cloth has some cat scratches, see photos. The drivers are in great condition. I bought them from an estate sale and it looks like they've been re-coned. The tweeters look like ribbon tweeters. There are separate controls on the back for treble and midrange. They have very heavy well-built cabinets. The midrange speakers are in their own enclosures in the cabinets. I've heard this was the same company as RTR but can't confirm. I was going to resurface the wood and put on new grill cloth but I don't have the time now. I've read these were very expensive when sold new. They sound great as is but if you want to rebuild them, they would look very nice. They are very heavy; you would need to pick them up at the valet drive up at my condo in Plymouth. There is some information on the internet but since they are old it's hard to find. You won't find anything near this quality at this price at a Best Buy store. I have too many speakers and need to thin the heard so I'm selling some off. I am basically giving these away at this price.
