Little brother to the Sansui 9090. Same physical size as the 9090 but a bit less power. All elcetrolytic and tantalum capacitors have been replaced. Driver card is a full rebuild. New outputs. Fuse lights have all been changed over to LED, bulbs in power meters and function slots remain incandescent and all work. All boards have been rebuilt with quality new parts. The 8080 came with a vinyl wrap veneer instead of wood like the 9090. The veneer on this one was peeling very bad, I removed all of the vinyl and put on some real walnut scrap veneer I had. The bottom valance was pretty beat up, for that I cut a new one out of solid walnut. Case is solid and looks much better than peeling vinyl. AM and FM work but I did not align the tuners, like all vintage audio the tuners would need alignment for optimal performance.
I have this priced to SELL and the price will not change. I will have the unit set up and running so the buyer can inspect and verify rebuild. I cannot ship the unit, no matter how much you ask.
