Demonstrated experience in design and implementation medical device components or systems
Demonstrated hands-on ability to operate common laboratory and machine shop tools and equipment
Demonstrated experience in design verification and process validation testing
Demonstrated experience in authoring and publishing design documentation, manufacturing instructions and qualification/validation plans and reports.
Excited about exploring product performance by stretching it to its limits and rigorously troubleshoot issues that arise.
Thrive in a busy work environment where juggling multiple changing priorities simultaneously is a norm.
Maintaining extreme attention to detail in all aspects of your work assignment is your second nature.
Disciplined thinking and record keeping during the evaluation of products
Able to offer creative problem solving and practical solutions in a team setting.
SKILLS and EDUCATION THAT ENSURE A SOLID START IN YOUR CAREER:
BS in a technical discipline with 5-10 years of work experience, or BA, or Technical Certification in a technical discipline with 10-15 years of experience.
All work experience has to be gained in a technical complex setting.
Proven assembly and laboratory experience. Skilled and experienced with the use of machine shop equipment, machine tools, measurement instruments, various laboratory instruments, test equipment, chemicals and solvents, etc.
Proficient in basic PC navigation and MS Office Suites
Proficient in Solidworks CAD design
Excellent manual dexterity and eyehand coordination.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in "wet lab" environments is a plus
