We are currently seeking a qualified full-time Curriculum Coordinator to join our administrative team. The Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for developing and overseeing the curriculum and educational foundation of our program and ensuring program goals and learning standards are surpassed.

Duties:
Curriculum
 Develop our curriculum (with input from teachers and Center administration) to achieve NAEYC standards and based on best practices, which includes developing annual age-based curriculum plans by age group, developing daily/weekly/monthly plans, compiling age appropriate activities and lessons, and ensuring all curriculum achieves not only our standards and reflects our values of inclusiveness, diversity, and language learning
 Tie curriculum plan with field trips, special days, and special guests to integrate program goals and provide unique learning opportunities
 Develop assessment to use in program
 Stay abreast of new research and developments in early childhood education

Accreditation
 In partnership with our Training Coordinator work to achieve Parent Aware 4-star ratings for Minnesota Centers
 Assist Centers with achieving NAEYC accreditation

Administrative
 Assist teachers with twice yearly conference evaluations and updates for families
 Train teachers on our curriculum and provide guidance on best practices for managing a classroom
 Conduct classroom observations to ensure achieving program goals
 Plan field trip and special guest opportunities that fit with curriculum plans
 Develop opportunities for parent particularly in the classroom throughout the year and coordinates opportunities with Centers and teachers
 Respond to parent questions pertaining to curriculum
 Translating curriculum and evaluations from English to Spanish and vice versa
 Provide input for learning opportunities and professional development to Training Coordinator for staff

Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Early Childhood Education or related degree, and have experience in an early childhood education work environment. Must have strong written skills (English) and is able to communicate effectively. Candidates will ideally be fluent (or at least conversational in Spanish), have worked as a Lead Teacher in a childcare center, have experience with the Creative Curriculum/STEAM, and experience managing educational program quality and curriculum with infants through pre-k.

Candidate must be a go-getter that takes initiative to determine solutions and is not afraid to ask questions. Outstanding organizational skills, strong interpersonal/customer service abilities and the ability to multi-task efficiently are all critical skills for this role. Looking for a self-starter that is motivated to learn and grow with a rapidly expanding company. We do not micro-manage and there will be minimal supervision after training period. Pay, Benefits, and Schedule:
The Curriculum Coordinator is a full-time exempt position. Salary depends on qualifications and experience. Benefits include discounted childcare, paid training, medical and dental insurance, paid time off (pto) per year (pto increases with service and caps at four weeks pto annually) and eleven paid holidays. Our rapidly growing company just launched a national franchising expansion and we are currently seeking a qualified full-time Franchise Operations Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of Center operations and being our new franchisee’s “rock” as they embark of starting their first Tierra Encantada Center.

Duties:
 Become intimately familiar with Tierra Encantada Center operations
 Provide support to franchise sales team
 Help coordinate and run Discovery Days for prospective franchisees
 Ensure Operations Manual and franchisee training program is comprehensive and keeps up to date with the needs of new franchisees to ensure they successfully open their Centers and quickly achieve profitability
 Conduct online and in-person trainings with franchisees
 Build strong relationships with franchises built on trust and respect
 Help franchisees with Grand Openings and opening their new Centers
 Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisees to answer their questions, resolve issues as they arise, help connect them with resources and appropriate team members as needed, and help them meet their marketing and financial goals
 Conduct surprise visits to ensure compliance with brand and operational standards (visits will require travel across the United States, each Center requiring a visit 1-4 times a year)
 Complete special projects

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in franchise operations and willing to travel 10%+ of their time. Must have expert level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and be able to write, speak, and read English fluently. Spanish is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter that takes initiative to determine solutions and is not afraid to ask questions. They are personable, supportive, and have excellent time management skills. They are willing to go above and beyond to help a colleague out and have excellent follow through skills. They are a great speaker and can train and present with confidence. Outstanding organizational skills, strong interpersonal/customer service abilities and the ability to multi-task efficiently are all critical skills for this role. We are currently seeking a qualified Assistant Director Float to join our team. The Assistant Director Float provides support and fills in at all of our Twin Cities’ Centers covering for Director/Assistant Director absences and vacations and provides additional administrative support to Centers and corporate headquarters.

Duties:
 Become intimately familiar with Tierra Encantada Center operations
 Assist with center operations, which includes: responding to family inquiries and questions, welcoming families, providing tours, facilitating first classroom visits, helping with field trips, updating and maintaining classroom trackers, helping in classrooms cover breaks, planning center events and special days, etc
 Adheres to guidelines outlined in Director’s Manual pertaining to center management, classroom management, family interactions, and child development
 Maintains a positive, friendly attitude with families, and be a “team-mate” to parents and staff in supporting children’s growth
 Ensuring facilities adhere to licensing guidelines
 Develop and maintain good working relationships with teachers, cooks, other floats, and administration to ensure a team environment is maintained
 Must fulfill required training requirements, and support Center objectives in achieving accreditation

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have previous administrative experience in an early education setting. Prefer candidates with previous experience as an Assistant Director or Director at an early education center. Must have expert level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), be able to write, speak, and read English fluently, and have conversational Spanish skills. Qualified candidates will have the physical ability to perform essential job functions without health restrictions. This includes the ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time, to have unrestricted use of the upper and lower body, hearing and vision within normal ranges to be able to adequately ensure the children’s safety, to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, to chase a fleeing child, to join children’s play actively, and the ability to bend, squat, kneel, reach, and climb stairs. They will have current First Aid/CPR certification or will be able to provide certificate of completion of an approved pediatric first aid and CPR training within 90 days of hire. Employees are responsible for renewing and maintaining a valid, current CPR and pediatric first aid certification at all times. Must pass background study, fingerprinting, and e-verify.
