1964 Dodge Polara 440 2dr. Hardtop. Project car. 273 V/8 w/3sp column shift. 82K miles. True barn find that hasn't run since 1976. North Dakota car, solid body, original paint w/minimal rust. Minor dings/dents but overall a pretty straight car with awesome patina. Sat outside for 40 years! All chrome and grill work present and in good condition. All glass good and operable. Car is now fully operational, starts easily, runs smooth and drives well. No smoke. What's been done: New starter/alternator/fuel pump/carb/gas tank and pickup/re-cored 3 row radiator/dual exhaust system/taillight wiring harness/trunk weatherstrip/original brake system rebuilt with all new shoes/hardware/hoses/master cylinder/front drums. All new E-brake system. New Radial T/A's on front, near new on rear. Car had no interior when purchased now has mismatched seats and door panels in good condition. What it needs: Pretty much everything else. All suspension, steering gear and drivetrain are original to the car. Interior needs headliner, carpet ect. I will be installing a rebuilt dash cluster and have a new dash pad coming. Wipers inop. All seals around doors ect. What to do with it? Roadworthy rescue type blank slate. Drives well even at highway speeds. Never been blown apart, modified or messed with. Drive it as is and fix up as you go? I've driven it to a couple of shows/cruise nights and it gets the looks! Cool patina hot rod with big block and a 4 speed? Super stock tribute? Altered wheelbase straight axel? Restore to original? Lots of options. Late build date (may 64) explains factory 273 V/8 in place of the usual 318 poly found in most of these cars. Drivable dream for reasonable money. $11,500 383 and 4sp. available for extra $ I will answer questions via text but if you wish to buy you must speak to me via phone. Note to scammers: No I will not send you a code or buy your phony car fax so don't bother. Thanks for looking! Warren 7six3 43nine 1six68
