These are heavy duty shovels that have many practical purposes. Blade can be kept straight as shown or tilted 45° and re-tightened to use as a pickax style tool. Used to dig fox holes during wars, this now makes a great shovel around the yard or on camping trips or other outdoor purposes. Even for military reenactment or collectibles. Three 3 of them are available. One tool has been modified with a longer handle as seen. two canvas tool carrier covers as well. One cover is dated 1945, and is in very good shape considering it is now 80 years old. The design and manufacture of these tools hasn’t changed during that time..
