This is a piece of industrial history, most likely used in a factory from the inscriptions inside (see photos).
My father-in-law was an avid collector of antique radios, speakers and phonographs and everything mechanical. He was a lifelong member of Northland Antique Radio Club. My husband and I have begun to sell his collection on behalf of my mother-in-law.
