Product description
Hackman's steak knife and fork are part of the Hackman tools collection and the Koskinen 2000 barbecue set designed by Harri Koskinen. The simple, elegant shape is completed by the cutlery handle, which is bent into an imaginative handle.
Hackman, a little steel factory far up North established in 1790, became the flagship of Nordic cutlery design over the centuries and is now the largest Nordic trademark specialized in cookware, frying and grill pans and cutlery. Every Hackman product is designed to be functional as well as timelessly beautiful. Hackman’s strength lies in extensive expertise in its field acquired over the centuries.
Designer
Harri Koskinen (b. 1970) is a versatile Finnish designer who has studied at the Lahti Institute of Design and at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. His international breakthrough was in 1996 with the Block lamp, which is already considered a Scandinavian design classic and has been part of the MoMA’s permanent collection since 2000.
