Do you want to learn about the new FAA rules for Drones? Do you want to learn how to better fly your UAS/Drone?
UAS (also known as "Drones") come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They are found in diverse industries with multiple purposes. Regardless of size, the responsibility to fly safely applies equally to manned and unmanned aircraft operations.
20 hours of classroom training. It is designed to provide the remote pilot with the knowledge and skills they need to know about airspace regulations, flying safely, and to prepare for the FAA Aeronautical Knowledge exam for an FAA Remote Pilot Certificate. Students will also learn about UAS' capabilities and potential applications for business/commercial or personal use. Flight skills lab will be arranged in class with instructor for interested students who own a UAS.
