Nice older machine. Starts, idles, and runs up nicely. Shifts smoothly and holds in gear under load.
Throws excellent stream of cooling water.
Recent work includes removed carb and completely cleaned. Drained lower unit and oil was dirty but no indication of water. Pressure tested with no leak down. Refilled with new oil. Replaced water pump impeller. Replaced several mounting absorbers. Replaced various hoses.
This motor would be a good candidate for replacing or repowering of your current motor. Note this motor has the red plug connection for the power cable. Price is for motor only and does not include gas tank, fuel hose or controller (throttle/shift/keyed ignition switch). If needed controller is available for additional $150.
I can demonstrate motor running in a full sized test tank.
