My beloved RadCity4 (2021) was done in by a collision with a car. The cost of repairs exceeded the value of the bike, but I cannot bring myself to just putting it out for the scrappers. After disposing of the battery, I have salvaged what parts I could in hopes that someone else can make use of them. New bike is a completely different model (still Rad, though, because they rule), so they do not do me any good.
I have:
- Headlight: $25 (same model still used on Rad Power Bikes. $59 new, I 3D printed a stronger mount)
- Taillight: $10 (includes connector wire, $25 new on Rad Power Bikes website)
- Charger: $50 (48V 2A charger, will work with most RadBikes after 2018, only ever used indoors, DO NOT USE WITH ANYTHING BUT A COMPATIBLE RAD POWER BIKE BATTERY!!! DANGER!!!)
- Handlebars w/ Levers, Bell, and Throttle: $60 (Brake levers new on RPB website are $25 each)
- Kickstand: $10 (adjustable lean angle, $25 new on RPB website)
- Rear Wheel w/ Shengyi Hydrid Brushless Motor and Controller: $250 (has 6700 miles on it, but you would never know; incredible motor/wheel, have it not been for the crash, I think it would have gone another 6700, brake rotor still has a lot of life, cassette has seen better days)
- Display Screen/Ride Computer: $75 (still used on the Rad Wagon)
- Mechanical Brake Calipers: $10
- Front Fender: $10
I also have the bike's frame. If you want it, you can have it with purchase of $50 or more of the above parts. The left crank arm is bent from the crash and the front shocks have been shot for a while. I kept the fork locked as a result. Front fork may also be bent as it took a significant hit in the crash.
Will take $400 for the lot (20% discount vs. individual pricing)
