It comes with a great running 2015 115 HP MERCURY ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION (EFI) COMMAND THRUST (CT) 4-STROKE Motor with power trim and tilt on it that is in Excellent Condition. The MERCURY COMMAND THRUST Motors (which are very similar to the older BIG FOOTs) are specifically designed to give Pontoon Boats more power, speed and acceleration so they can plane out quicker and easier. All of the EFI 4-Stroke Motors are widely known to be the best outboard motors ever made. They are much quicker and easier to start, run a lot quieter, smoother and cleaner and get much better gas mileage than the older carbureted 2-stroke and 4-stroke motors. The EFI motors do not have chokes, that often flood engines and they don't have any carburetors, which frequently get fouled up and dirty over the years. Cleaning and rebuilding carburetors was one of the most common and expensive repair costs for many used outboard motors for many years. This motor was checked out, tuned up, serviced and run by my Marine Mechanic in October. He changed the oil filter and motor oil as well as the grease in the lower unit at that time. This boat and motor has only been rented out to the same couple who live on Lake Minnetonka for 3 months last summer as well as during the previous 2 summers. It has always started right up with a turn of the key and run exceptionally well during all of 3 of those summers without any mechanical problems whatsoever and it was still running great when it was driven to the boat landing to be taken out for the season. It has an Extra Large Built-In Gas Tank. This motor was manufactured in 2015, but this boat was originally manufactured in 2003. However, the inside of it has previously been totally refinished. If you buy it now you can store it by my shop until spring and I will personally guarantee it will start up and run very well and that the pontoons won't leak when it is put in a lake in the springtime.
You can buy it now for $21,900 without a trailer or for $24,000 with a very good used 2021 24 ft Dual Axle TEBBEN Scissors Trailer or for $25,000 with a Brand New Dual Axle Bunk Trailer. I paid my mechanic to shrink wrap it as well as winterize it; but I can easily cut around a side gate so you can go in it to look all around inside.
