1. Natural Speller, by Kathryn Stout, B.S.Ed., M.Ed., who was a well-respected, early homeschool curriculum writer; this is very well used but still useful (2 photos of table-of-contents)

Language Lessons For Today

Language Arts based on Primary and Intermediate Language Lessons by Emma Serl, in the early 1900s, very Charlotte Mason-style, updated by My Father’s World. They have the MFW original, old-fashioned covers, which some prefer, but may not have a few revisions made since then.
