1988 Nishiki International Olé 12 speed bicycle in blue / opalescent white fade color scheme (with red letters) in fair condition. Seat tube measures 58cm from center of bottom bracket / crank to top. The top tube has a light dent in it yet I don't see it presenting any problem functionally other than an aesthetic flaw. The rest of the bike is good however numerous scratches, blemishes are present (please review pictures). The white seat is torn a bit. The Olé edition groupset featured various white parts simailar to the Shimano Santé groupset around the same time. Made in Japan. Features Tange # 1 double-butted chromoly aka Cr-Mo tubing (similar formula and thicknesses to Reynolds 531) with "LD" large diameter oversized .8-.6-.8 tubes that fit onto internal lugs that are both brazed (with the end of the tubes fitted with a special ring) and heli-arc welded. The frame is stiff and light. I've included a review from Bicycling magazine Buyer's Guide for 1988 model year bikes and it got a very favorable review. I wrapped the bars with cotton tape and applied shellac based primer. New brake and shift cables and white cable housing. Shifts and rides nicely!
