This is one of the " mythical" first six ever built., the six without any headbadge.
I bought it from the original owner and took it back to the builder for a repaint and some disc brake additions, and a headbadge!
This has been a two owner bike, well maintained. Was built in 2003.
This comes ready with a WHITE INDUSTRIES headset.
some specs :
fork is 400 axle to crown, 45 mm offset, standard quick release drropouts .
Rear spacing is 135 with 410 center of bb to front of dropout. has a derailleur hanger on it too. OMG versatile! 27.2 seatpost, and grease it please.
seat tube from center of bb shell to center of top tube is 55 cm .
Top tube center to center is 58.5 cm.
1 1/8 headtube and steerer tube on fork.
the orange paint shines hard in the sun.
frame and fork has canti mounts for 700 c wheels.
also has disc mounts too so there are lots of options. Singlespeed, geared, 650b with discs or 700c with v-brakes.
with a 650b wheel you can get 42mm tires in there, with a 700 c you can get 38 mm in there. The fork has generous clearance.
