Crazy price I know and you don’t have to let me know, mostly it’s because I’m not sure I want to sell yet. Here’s a historical Specialized Sequoia. The story is that Specialized contracted their first Allez and Sequoias to Yoshi Konno’s famous 3Rensho shop. 3Rensho made the first 100 sequoia frames; this is one of those.

Beautiful thinned lugwork. Super nice ride with 33mm tires with room for 35 comfortably. This was a true sport tourer, can handle a rack and small load, but it’s way more spirited than the Expedition would be. Paint is good but not perfect.

The problem is, it’s very similar to another bike I have and won’t get ridden as much as it should. I’m not dying to sell, thus the crazy price, but also I’d be willing to do some sort of ala carte with all the parts I could use for another build. Don’t need the parts below, subtract from the price, if that makes sense. Maybe I’m way off on the prices for parts, but they’re all things I like and would be happy to keep.

Suntour GT front and rear derailleurs $125
Berthoud saddle $100
Sugino AT crankset $80
Silver Rivendell bar ends $100
Gran compe center pulls $150
Nitto bars and stem $150
Leh leather tape $75
MKS ezy pedals $120

Wheels are ultegra hubs to Mavic opens with Soma Supple vitesse tires. New nitto seatpost.

Frost River bag and dog not included.
