Here is a rare chance to get a complete touring rig in pristine condition. Custom build starting with a well constructed Gunnar Grand Tour-Disc frame in stunning metallic redwood. Frames from Gunnar and Waterford are no longer available as Richard Schwinn has decided to call it a day and operations have ceased. This bike was to be my dream touring built, but sadly for me, injuries and illness have prevented this bike being used as intended, and it has extremely minimal use as a result (300 miles total--mostly on one tour).

The build that follows indicates a touring bike that is thoughtfully equipped and ready to use immediately.

Drive train: IRD Competition crankset with 46-30 t chainrings driving an 11-42 11 speed cassette and this pairing covers a range that is wider (and lower) than a touring triple.

The 2 X 11 system permits the use of brifters and here we have Shimano 105 R7020 11 speed in silver. They provide shifting to the R7000 105 front deraillerur and the Ultegra RX long cage rear derailleur that has a clutch to eliminate chain slap.

The brakes are ultra reliable TRD Spyre and the rotors are 160 front and rear.

The cockpit is a standout from Nitto: seatpost (27.2), stem (100 mm 11 degree) and a handlebar that is 44 cm center to center.

The saddle is an Ergon in a touring width, but you probably have your own preference.

The wheels are first rate and a standout for reliability and performance. The front hub is a Son 28 dynamo from Schmitt Edelux, laced to a Rhyde Andra 30 rim with Sapim spokes. The rear wheel is again the Andra 30 laced to the superb White Industries hub--these wheels are standard of excellence and dependability in the touring world. The tires are Rene Herse Bon Jon Pass in 700 X 35.

The dynamo hub powers front and rear lights that are included.

The racks front and rear are by Tubus and are the most rugged and reliable that can be found--worth over $300 too!

The fenders are Velo Orange in lightweight aluminum with a hammered finish.

It includes the three lightweight stainless bottle cages that are pictured.

I think that about covers it, but...if I missed anything, or you want to set up a time to see it, let me know.
