First off I am not an expert on bikes, but did some research on this one. It is a Schwinn Le Tour 25" road bike. According to the serial number it is from May of 1974, the first-year issue! Color was called "Opaque Red". These first year Le Tours were made in Japan for Schwinn. It appears complete as I looked at other photos of 1974's and they didn't have fenders, and had the small Black seats and Black handlebar wrap. There was a kickstand on it (it is broken off but the mount is still on), but not sure if they originally came with it. Maybe you experts know! The condition is "fair/good", it was found in the back of an old garage and was covered in dirt and decades of heavy dust/grime. I cleaned it off the bests I could, but the chrome could use some more cleaning. Someone said that steel wool or aluminum foil works for that, but I'll let the new owner do that. Has wear from use, paint scrapes, some tape repair on the handlebar tape. Back wheel rim has a couple little "wobbles", but maybe can be fixed? Vintage front Continental tire holds air, but the back has a slow leak, I put air in it and could ride it around long enough to check the gears and it seems like they all work still. It will obviously need a tune-up if you are going to ride it, the brakes are "ok". Ride at your own risk, sold as a collectible. $200 cash, rare bike. Located at my place of work in SW Mpls. We can meet there for a safe quick transaction.
