1961 J. C. Higgins 3 speed bike made in Austria for Sears. Bought from the original owner who said the bike has less than 50 miles on it and it definitely shows like that. A few small scratches from storage per the prior owner. Everything on the bike is original except: Seat, tires, tubes and brake pads. I have all those original parts and they go with the bike.

I also have a new chrome chain in the box that goes with the bike. The original one on the bike is still in excellent shape. Original pedals with no wear, original handlebar grips with no wear, original cables, original wheels, etc. etc. Even the decals are all in great shape. Beautiful bike that draws people's attention.

If you are into vintage bikes, the only restoration you will need to do on this bike is to simply buy it! Bike was recently tuned up so it shifts and brakes nicely. Museum quality very rare in excellent condition for a bike like this that is 64 years old.
