I can help you prep for your written and/or oral test, including teaching you how to make the best use of your time with test prep software and flash cards. Once you know HOW to study the material, you can do a lot of it on your own time.
Thinking of getting your license? I can show you how the process works, what to expect, what flight training options are available, and how to avoid common pitfalls that can cost you time and money. I work for YOU, not a flight school.
Got a subject area that needs a little help? I can probably get you up to speed. Nervous on the radio at tower-controlled airports? I can definitely help you.
Studying for your part 107 commercial drone license? I can help
CFI students: I scored in the 90s on my Flight Instructor written exams and so can you. Already passed the FOI/CFI writtens? Let's meet and drill for the dreaded CFI oral exam. You can't effectively study for the oral by yourself. You are more likely to fail a CFI exam on the oral portion vs. the flight portion, especially if you are a nervous public speaker, practice oral exams can help a lot. The FOI portion of the oral exam requires a LOT of memorization.
I hold FAA Flight and Ground Instructor Certificates, your ground instruction can be logged and I can issue FAA Knowledge Exam signoffs (except for instrument rating).
We can meet at my office in Bloomington. I charge $25/hr for ground instruction, waaay cheaper than your CFI who would rather be flying. I am not offering flight training, only ground instruction.
