MINTON produced the elegant St. James pattern from 1971 - 1998 and it remains ever-popular for a formal dining table.
This vintage dinnerware was produced on ivory-coloured porcelain featuring smoky-blue ovals alternating with gold diamond-shapes along a ribbon of cobalt-blue.
The striking decoration is trimmed along both sides in gold and another band of gold accents the handle and base of each cup.
Each Espresso cup stands 2 3/8" high x 2 1/4" across, (holding 4 oz.) and resting on a 5" saucer.
This set of Espresso cup and saucer shows no sign of wear and no chips, cracks or crazing are seen. "Zoom in" to appreciate the lovely condition of this fine dinnerware.
These cups are so wonderfully made that they are translucent when held to the light.
This grouping of Espresso Cup and Saucer would be a wonderful addition to an existing collection.
