Nessen Studios of New York 2-bulb floor lamp, circa 1930s. A rare and intriguing collector's piece by noted designer Walter Von Nessen. Steel pole and base with round, clear plexiglass-like (not sure of the material) attached table. 50" tall. In good working condition. Base has 3 very small dents and slight scuffing; one of the chain pull pieces has been replaced; one of the bulb casings is a bit loose. The shade pictured is NOT the original, it is a mid-century-modern two-tiered shade I paired with the lamp, which (in my opinion) makes a great combo. I don't wish to sell the shade by itself, but I will sell the lamp, professionally appraised at $1400, by itself for $600. Or, $695 for the pair.
