Cylinder Records:
– 26 cylinders in total, plus 5 empty cases
– Of the 26, not damaged is 14
– Of the 26, damaged but may work is 5 (damage on rim)
– Of the 26, damaged is 7
– Most cylinders are black, a few are blue
– Naphtha Soap box included (nicely stored cylinders all these years!)
Condition:
Appears to be in good condition with all parts, except for the attachment between the horn and the Reproducer which is available online. I have not tried it out – don’t want to damage anything. Being sold AS-IS.
Notes:
On the inside of the cover, there is a note written in chalk by my grandfather, who was born in 1913. “Clarence’s Phonograph got from Mrs & Mr E. Johnson” and “C.J.’s Phonograph”. I’m not sure who Mrs. & Mr. E. Johnson were, could be relatives. This has been in our family for at least 70 years as a display item.
