Elegant, classical shape.
11.5" tall by 3.5" wide.
Signed on base "daga" and number "37".
No visible blemishes, cracks or chips.
The bowl is very delicate and 4" by 4". Light ivory speckled glaze. Also in very fine condition. Marked on the bottom--"Daga 82".
Maigon Daga is known for his midcentury modern forms and designs.
The artist emigrated from Latvia and settled in the Minneapolis/St Paul area in the 1950s.
This art pottery pitcher would be beautiful as an accent piece in your midcentury modern, Eames, Danish modern or even traditional style home. The bowl is a nice compliment to the pitcher.
