Permanent part-time bookkeeper/office assistant position available at our residential property management company located in Edina. Hours are 9am-2pm or flexible within our core office hours, ideally 20-25 hours per week.

Simply Residential Property Management is looking for a disciplined, detail-oriented person to handle the bookkeeping department as well as office administration and engagement with our clients, tenants and vendors.
Bookkeeping work will primarily involve data entry, A/P, A/R, bank reconciliation, invoicing, payroll and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will have experience handling all aspects. A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy is required. Must be willing to adapt to requests from clients - rote skills will not be enough.
Office administration will involve speaking to clients on the phone, filing, follow-up on maintenance work orders, and providing administrative support to the management company as needed. Must have great verbal and written communication skills.
There will be minimal supervision and direction after the training period, so the ideal candidate must be a tenacious go-getter, eager to learn and willing to ask questions. The first third of the month is especially fast-paced so candidate must be prepared to work well under those circumstances and be able to handle a concentrated work volume during those times. Our ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced, positive environment, work well independently and on a small team of professionals.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A BOOKKEEPER, administrative background, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask and strong attention to detail. Knowledge of property management is beneficial, but not required.
