National Account Manager

 

Allegro Home Delivery is a fast-growing company beginning to disrupt the last mile home delivery market. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced National Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team and help drive our continued growth.

Primary Role: The National Account Manager will use their skills, talent, and experience to expand our client base on a national scale. Your main objective will be to close new sales, develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring maximum revenue growth and client satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the company's market share and revenue from new and existing accounts
  • Work closely with Marketing to help create targeted campaigns
  • Sales hunter emphasis to close new business from new clients
  • Also, sales farmer emphasis to grow the business we have with our current clients
  • Build and cultivate strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to national accounts, ensuring a thorough understanding of our company's services and value propositions
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure seamless execution of account strategies and to drive customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to achieve sales targets
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and progress updates to senior management
  • Travel to meet with potential clients and existing clients; also participate in tradeshows and conferences

 

Qualifications:

  • Track record of prior success and strong work ethic, minimum of two years of sales experience
  • A strong understanding and well-defined reason for being interested in a Sales career
  • Solid communication skills with an emphasis on listening, persuasion, and persistence, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels
  • Go-getter, ambitious, self-motivated, competitive, and self-disciplined
  • Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced team environment under minimal supervision
  • High-energy, problem-solving team player
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven, with a desire to achieve and exceed targets
  • Outstanding negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders
  • Eager to learn and interested in leveraging technology to improve performance
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as required
  • Ability to be coachable in our sales model and learning our solutions and conveying the strengths and benefits to our prospects
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 55k to 85k + commission
