I'm selling my 2023 Fender JV Modified '50s Stratocaster HSS, upgraded with a Lindy Fralin Modern P.A.F. humbucker in the bridge position - a $200+ pickup upgrade that really adds to the tone of this guitar.
This is part of Fender's well-regarded JV Modified Series, honoring the legendary early '80s Japanese Fenders that are now highly collectible. It was made in Japan at the FujiGen factory, known for exceptional build quality that rivals American-made instruments. The stock bridge humbucker has been replaced with hand-wound Lindy Fralin Modern P.A.F. which perfectly balances it with the vintage single coils in the middle and neck positions.
Specifications:
- Body: Resonant basswood in classic 2-Color Sunburst finish
- Neck: Comfortable soft "V" maple neck with satin finish - Probably the best neck I've ever played.
- Fingerboard: 9.5" radius maple with 21 medium jumbo frets
- Pickups:
- Neck: Vintage-Style Single-Coil Strat
- Middle: Vintage-Style Single-Coil Strat (RWRP)
- Bridge: UPGRADED Lindy Fralin Modern P.A.F. Humbucker
- Electronics: Master Volume, Tone 1 (neck/middle) with push-pull humbucker coil split, Tone 2 (bridge)
- Bridge: 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo
- Tuners: Vintage-Style Locking Tuners
- Weight: Approximately 7.5 lbs
The guitar is in excellent condition with almost no play wear. All electronics work perfectly, neck is straight, frets have plenty of life. I do not have the original bridge pickup.
