Kay Model 780/761 amplifier. This amplifier started out as a model 780, but had been cut in half, the Select-A-Rhythm was removed with no speaker, grill cloth or cabinet bottom. The end result is a Kay Model 761 (same amp per catalog specs but no SAR). The Model 780 was only listed in their 1968 catalog, the Model 761 is in several 1960s Kay catalogs.
This has been cleaned up with replaced filter and coupling caps (the photos were taken before the replacement), has separate two-input channels (one clean, one with tremolo and reverb), and has an external speaker output jack. Speaker is a 12” 8 ohm made by Oaktron. It has a unique reverb unit made by Gibbs, mounts on the side and held in place with 4 springs. I have multiple pictures, a .pdf of the Kay catalogue, schematic and parts list (replicated from originals adhered inside a Model 780 cabinet). Guitar is not included but could be if the price is right.
Mention something about one of the pics so I know you’re not a robot. If the post is up, it's available, I will delete posts asking this. Email 9/5/22 text 50 or 1/1/88 call Mike.
