Selling an expertly made Fender Partscaster. If ever there was a guitar built for looks, this would be it. But wait, it gets better. A teal green in color, like a cross between Inverness and Sherwood Green and slightly metallic/iridescent in hue. Now, the sound. This gem sports a fender wide range humbucker in the next position paired with a standard American telecaster pup in the bridge position. The neck position humbucker sounds so fat and juice, especially through tubes. It wounds more like a Duncan but its all Fender wide range. It produces a timbre that leads me to think there is an ash body under the gorgeous pain. Fat, juice, and for lack of a better work, thick with a nice high end, especially when pushed. Very pedal friendly, this tele is ideal for music of any genre. Holding fast to it's Kulson Supreme Tuners is a highly flamed maple neck that must be seen to appreciate. The flame comes through the neck nicely, showing itself proudly on the front of the headstock and also the fretboard. This is both a musical instrument and a work of art.
I purchased a large lot of guitars from a collector and am piecing them out. This was built by the Guitar Shop of Wisconsin in Madison. He played it a few times in his studio, and then stored it. Never been gigged, and has spent its entire life in a temperature and humidity-controlled room. This guitar is priced like a crime. Come and get it!
