For sale is one extreme Epiphone SG. The seller bought a bottom of the line Okoume (still mahogany) body and stripped it. Starting at the top of the mahogany neck we find Kluson Superme 20 - 1 Tuners with tulip buttons. Yup, there is a scarf joint. That will remain and be stable like a one piece neck for 200 years. Neck profile is a meeting of a C and D shape. Jumbo Gibson type frets play perfectly. No sharp ends and have been filed and polished. Custom WD pickguard matches the overall red vibe of the killer to a T. Now it's getting extreme because the husk that was started with housed a pair of Gibson custom shop PAF reissue pups. Wraparound bridge keeps this fire breathing axe in perfect tune all night. Yes, it has a tiny ding and has been gigged about six times. This is a genius of a build that plays and sounds mean, sweet, hot, smooth, and jazzy depending on how the PAFs are employed. Don't let the looks sway you. This is one find guitar that will stand toe to toe with any guitar for jazz, blues, country, or rock. Underpriced at $550 which is less than the price of the custom shop matched pair of PAFs. I purchased a large lot of guitars from a collector and am piecing them out. He purchased this, gigged it a few times, and then stored it. It has spent its entire life in a temperature and humidity-controlled room.
