This is a beautiful giclee print of Marguerite de Valois, also known as Margaret of Valois or "Queen Margot".
Marguerite de Valois (1553–1615) was a French princess who became Queen of Navarre by marriage and later Queen of France.
She was known for her intelligence and education, as well as her patronage of the arts.
Her life was marked by political and religious upheaval during the French Wars of Religion.
She was the daughter of King Henry II of France and Catherine de' Medici, and the sister of Kings Francis II, Charles IX, and Henry III of France.
Her marriage to Henry of Navarre (later King Henry IV of France) was a significant event in French history.

This is pre owned and in great vintage condition. There is a hairline crack in the frame, but does not effect the look or the sturdiness of the frame. This is just normal signs of age and adds character.
