Golden Technologies Buzz Around XL Series 3 Wheel Scooter

Originally purchased December of 2023 from Jackson Med for $1600
Items included:
-2 battery cases (1 original case with 2026 batteries and 1 new case with 2025 batteries)
-2 keys
-1 charger
-1 front basket (is removable)
-1 phone holder (never attached/used)
-1 cup holder (never attached/used)
-1 rear basket (previously used with a different scooter, but should fit this one)
-Red and Blue color pieces (currently the Blue pieces are on it)
-Tools for adjustments
-Owners manual
Things to note:
-1 spot on side of handle for USB charging
-1 spot on side of handle to charge the battery while still attached to the scooter
-1 small headlight, controlled by gray button under handle
-Horn, controlled by red button on top of handle
-Arm rests are adjustable width wise and can also be flipped up
-There is a lever under the seat that will allow it to turn from front facing to side facing
Regarding the batteries:
-Original batteries were replaced June of 2025 at Jackson Med for $160 (at the same time the scooter had diagnostics done for $65 and was deemed fine)
-Recently the replacement batteries did not want to last very long. It could be they were not charged as they should have been due to a bad power strip. The batteries were tested at Batteries Plus and they said they were still decent.
-A set of new batteries were purchased from Amazon in March of 2026 for about $60 and placed in the original battery case.
-A new empty battery case was purchased from eBay for about $120 in March of 2026 and the batteries from June of 2025 were placed in it.
-The batteries have never been left directly on the scooter for charging
-Both batteries have since been used on the scooter to test them out. The ones from 2025 still don’t last long. The ones from 2026 seem to do just fine.
-It could be possible that a better brand of battery is needed. The 2025 batteries and the 2026 batteries are the same brand.
