This is a wall-hanging working vintage phone replica that belonged to my brother-in-law. (He died of cancer awhile back) It worked in the past and as far as he knew, it should still be working. For this to work, you need to attach a live landline to the phone cord at the bottom of the phone cabinet.
We attached this phone to our landline and called our home number with my cell phone. The wall phone rang and we were able to hear and speak with each other. However, we were not able to make an outgoing call using the rotary dial inside the phone cabinet. It may be that it needs some repair or perhaps the rotary dial is just for looks. I don’t know for sure.
If you don’t have a landline, just mount the phone on a wall for a look of nostalgia and as a conversation piece. It will certainly be noticeable. Also, when you turn the crank handle, the bells ring. $65 cash only. It's in pretty good condition. If interested, please respond with your telephone number. Thanks!
