This ad is for a used, but very nice, Raleigh Record 10 speed road bicycle. It is likely a late '70's model and it appears that it has spent most of it's life in storage - it is in exceptionally nice condition. I made sure that the seat and handlebar stems were not frozen and could be adjusted easily. All of the components are Suntour (Japanese). The tires hold air. I tested the shifting and brakes on the stand you see in the pictures and everything works as it should. It has the original seat. Raleigh was very proud of itself and there are little "Raleigh" embossments in numerous places on the bike. The frame is steel and has no rust. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat tube is 19.5", the tires are 27" x 1.25" (smaller frame, big tires). The standover height is 30" and the top tube is 20" long. It is a very nice serviceable 10 speed. The price of this bike is $150.00, which is a very good price for a vintage bicycle in this condition.
