Let me enter some of the description from the box...
The Vmic Mini is a compact directional condenser mic which adds high-quality audio to your videos. The cardioid condenser microphone capsule reduces distracting peripheral sounds and focuses on the audio in front of the camera. The integrated shock mount is helpful to prevent mechanically transmitted noise.
This microphone was only used for streaming videos of church services using a cell phone. Low tech for sure, but the microphone helped immensely in focusing the sound so that crowd noises were reduced. We no longer are streaming, so the mic is now for sale.
