The front features a white needlepoint canvas insert, bordered by white eyelet lace with green satin ribbon woven through it. The edge is finished with a ruffled green and white gingham trim. The back is made of green and white gingham fabric, secured with a Velcro closing for easy access. It includes the polyester pillow filling.
To stitch the needlepoint canvas: First, decide on the design. Either draw/paint the design on the canvas or follow a pattern or chart that indicates where to stitch. Open the Velcro closing and remove the pillow form. You can then slip your hand inside — you’ll use your non-dominant hand as the “underneath” hand. Place a piece of cardboard or stiff plastic inside behind the canvas to prevent accidentally stitching through the pillow fabric.
