2002 Ford Escape XLT for parts. Has 249,000 miles, was driven daily until a week ago.
Ran fine until a week ago, now it bogs down and dies when first put into gear. Still runs and drives, but probably not worth fixing. Put a new IAC valve in, did not solve the problem. Not worth troubleshooting further as this likely won’t make it through winter.
Has Minnesota rust/corrosion from 20+ Minnesota winters. Front ball joints are bad, from my inspection you will probably break more parts trying to replace these than it’s worth. Rear axle seal on drivers size leaks trans fluid.
Has a new battery, maybe 6 months old. Front bank ignition coils were replaced about a year ago.
