This mattress was custom designed by a sleep consultant for side sleeping. Unfortunately the latex mattress didn't fit my preferences (first latex foam mattress) so listing for about a third of what I paid. Slept in for under a dozen nights.

Mattress is 4 x 3" Talalay latex foam layers (12" mattress), with the bottom two layers being firm foam for a support base, and the top two layers being soft medium contour layers at the shoulders to create spine alignment, with firmer support from the waist down to support the hips. This mattress fit is designed for bodies with shoulders wider than hips.

Mattress is made up of the 4 layers each zipped in individual cotton covers, and the overall package wrapped in an organic cotton cover. Because these layers are individually wrapped you are welcome to order new foam of different densities to customize the mattress (top two layers are the custom contoured pieces). Also included is an extra 3" layer, which is of the same contouring but slightly firmer.
