Raikes Bears Penelope. A Robert Raikes Original designed in Mt Shasta California and produced exclusively by Applause, Division of Wallace Berrie & Co., in 1986. This wood faced bear is wearing a pink dress with lace and pearl buttons and a pink bow. The bear is in nice condition except for a few imperfections on the dress and the dress has some faded spots. The box is in decent shape and has a few areas of minor damage as you can see in the pictures.
The bear measures approximately 15" long x 9.5" wide and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity certifying that the piece is numbered J4503/15000. The bear is signed on the bottom of the foot. Comes with original box.
