Raikes Bears Cecil. A Robert Raikes Original designed in Mt Shasta California and produced exclusively by Applause, Division of Wallace Berrie & Co., in 1986. This wood faced bear is wearing a khaki jacket, red scarf, red beret, and holds a director's megaphone. The bear is in nice condition except the megaphone has been flattened a bit but fluffed back up decent. The wood and eyes have some normal wear for age. Otherwise in good condition. The box is in decent shape and has a few areas of damage as you can see in the pictures. You can see some of the damage in the pictures.
The bear measures approximately 16" long x 9.5" wide and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity certifying that the piece is numbered J4709/15000. The bear is signed on the bottom of the foot. Comes with original box. It also has the original tag, but it is not connected.
