My brother-in law a retired engineer built a set of these for my vessel when I was doing the Great Loop on my boat and then living on my Trawler for 6 months a year in FL. We now after approx 5 years. Use them to carry your tender aft off the swim platform. If you Google or search the name given to our Davits our web site can be found to get more information. The picture shown with one of our happy users is holding a set with Davit extensions build specifically for his vessel. With the standard set and no assistance to load your dinghy we recommend keeping the total weight under 250lbs.
