Super rare opportunity to own a Salsa La Raza prototype bike! This is a project I started to build up and now am moving on to the next owner, I have a different project in mind I’m putting the funds towards.
From the best of my knowledge, this was likely made in the early 2000’s and is made of Reynolds 853 steel tubing with fillet welding. The frame is NOS and has never been ridden. The rear dropouts are stamped Salsa. It didn’t come with decals being a prototype, however the previous owner put some newer salsa decals on it , I was going to replace them but never got around to it. I’ll update the listing in the next day or two with more information. I believe it’s a 50/52/54cm frame, I’ll measure and update that as well. I was going to build it as a single speed. If you don’t want some of the parts, I’m flexible on the price and also may be open to trades for higher end parts. Included with the frame will be the following:
• NOS Ritchey Carbon fork uncut w/box
• Cane Creek headset (I’m keeping the orange one pictured)
• Carbon SRAM brake levers (not pictured yet)
• Carbon crankset with chainring as shown
• Velocity Deep V blue anodized rims with Real silver front & rear hubs (could run a geared drivetrain with these)
• The saddle/seatpost I’ll be hanging onto as well
• Surly silver seatpost clamp
• Blue anodized QR skewers
• 700cx28 thick slick tires
• a second 700c rim brake wheelse
