The chuck is a 12" PA3-12A Gator adjustable scroll chuck. The lathe has a 3 1/2" through-bore. The chuck is adjustable to the true lathe centerline. Has a coolant tank however the pump will need to be replaced. Sale to included a set of manuals and several RTG aluminum chuck jaws. This is a functioning lathe and can be seen under power.
This does not have a conversational control. Movie clips of lathe in operation available upon request. Both axis have between .012" and .014" of backlash. Nothing replaces an in-person inspection.
Believe the main unit weight to be 8000 lbs., maybe a little more. My forklift can move it along the floor, but cannot lift it to a trailer deck. There is a forklift dealer locally in Grand Rapids that rents. Also this lathe could easily be craned or lifted by a large wrecker.
